    BARENAKED PLANET
Sign up to be an eco-volunteer!
Barenaked Ladies and environmental group, Reverb proudly announce the launch of BARENAKED PLANET! Barenaked Planet encompasses all of the band’s environmental efforts, namely:

  • the presence of an Eco-village with local and national non-profits and green businesses at each tour stop this fall
  • the use of biodiesel in all of BNL's trucks and buses
  • recycling and the use of compostables backstage
  • organic merchandise options
  • printed materials on recycled papers with soy inks
  • wind energy offset for every show through our partners at NativeEnergy (www.nativeenergy.com/reverb)
  • AND...the option for you to buy a "Barenaked Planet" offset bumper sticker at the Eco-village which will allow you to neutralize the carbon emissions from your drive to and from the show (and enter you in a raffle to win some autographed BNL goodies).
We'll also have food drives to benefit local America's Second Harvest Food Banks in the cities listed below! Bring 10 non perishable food items or donate $2--you'll be entered into a raffle to win SIGNED merchandise from Barenaked Ladies! Donate more, be entered again and again!

Atlanta, GA (CASH ONLY), Omaha, NE (CASH AND CANS) Chicago, IL (FOOD DRIVE*) Denver, CO (FOOD DRIVE *) Portland, OR (FOOD DRIVE *) Everett, WA (FOOD DRIVE*) San Francisco, CA (FOOD DRIVE*) Los Angeles, CA (CASH ONLY) San Diego, CA (CASH AND CANS)
*Please see www.rockforaremedy.org for updates on these shows to know if you should bring cans or cash or both! Stay tuned for additional cities being added along the way. In addition to helping offset your drive or donating food, you can win a raffle for a solar backpack or an autographed First Act guitar up for silent auction, test out eco-friendly beauty products and talk with local groups about all sorts of environmental issues. It's a big undertaking so we're incredibly appreciative of your support!

    Here’s how you can help:
Reverb is looking for a few good eco-volunteers that want to lend a hand with our environmental outreach and recycling efforts -- and of course see BNL in all their fabulousness! Reverb would like four volunteers per concert to come be a part of the Reverb eco-team to help hand out flyers to concert attendees, help at the eco-village when needed, and most importantly help us get the bags of recycling to an appropriate recycling spot in each community that the tour hits (this could be as simple as taking a bag or two home to add to your own recycling collection). In return, the volunteers will get into the concert for free (via a working pass), receive an organic "Barenaked Planet" t-shirt and get to meet & greet with members of BNL before the show! We need folks that feel like they're dedicated to the issue and to helping green this tour! If you want to be part of the eco-team at any of the dates this fall -- please email Reverb’s Josh Glasheen at: barenakedplanetvolunteer@gmail.com. Please put in the subject: ECO-TEAM - CITY, STATE - DATE – for example: "ECO-TEAM - MANCHESTER, NH -10/23" Remember to include your full name, and cell phone number so we can get in touch with you easily. Please also include a sentence or two about why you’d like to get involved with the greening effort on this tour. Volunteers will be selected on a first-come-first-served basis. Please understand that by submitting an email you are not automatically an eco-team member—we will get in touch with you to let you know if you’ve been selected. Looking forward to seeing all of you at the Barenaked Planet Eco-village this fall! Check out www.ReverbRock.org/BarenakedPlanet for more info.
